Annabeth Chase is the deuteragonist of the Disney+ series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
She is the Greek demigod daughter of Athena and one of the best friends of Percy Jackson and Grover Underwood.

Biography[]
Background[]
Unlike most people, Annabeth is the daughter of Athena, goddess of wisdom, and the mortal Frederick Chase. She was born from the thoughts of her mother's mind once they feel a connection to her significant other. Frederick treated her like a gift for a few years until he married another woman and had his own children with her. Annabeth thought her stepmother saw her as a problem, so she ran away from home. She was eventually found by Luke Castellan and Thalia Grace, the forbidden daughter of Zeus. While Luke was immediately warm towards Annabeth, she had to earn Thalia's approval. With the three of them on their own, they became their own surrogate family.
While Thalia and Luke were reluctant to bring Annabeth with them and expose her to monsters, who were hunting Thalia because she was a forbidden child of Zeus. The group was protected by Grover Underwood. When they made their way to camp, they were chased by the Furies of Hades. To buy her friends time, Thalia faced the monsters on her own. Annabeth was devastated by the loss of her best friend. To take pity on Thalia, Zeus transformed her into a tree.
At some point, Grover also becomes Annabeth's satyr protector. She would follow around new arrivals at Camp Half Blood for a day or two, hoping they would be "the one" who would. Chiron would promise Annabeth that a demigod would one day come and take her on a quest that he couldn't prevent.

While she can come off as callous, she is actually passionate and loyal to those around her and will fight for her friends. Annabeth also had a close relationship with Luke Castellan, who regarded her as his younger sister and insisted that he will always take her side. However, when Annabeth learned about Luke's betrayal, they were both equally hurt. She has limited knowledge of the outside world due to living in Camp Half-Blood for the past five years. As time goes on, Annabeth's and Percy's friendship is identified as "an old married couple" as described by Luke Castellan.
Powers and Abilities[]
Genius Level Intellect: Annabeth is always six steps ahead. She is quite intelligent, as she figured out that Percy Jackson was the son of Poseidon. However due to living in camp Half-Blood, Annabeth has little to no knowledge of the outside world.
Equipment[]
- Celestial Bronze Dagger: Annabeth owns a bronze dagger that she keeps with her on all times.
- Yankee Cap: Annabeth has a Yankee cap that her mother Athena gifted her. It allows Annabeth to turn invisible.
- Bead Necklace: Annabeth also owns a necklace that has five beads representing her stay at Camp Half Blood since she was seven. She also wears a ring in the middle.
