Red Aspen’s Pump It Up, Maggie is getting a sister! Lift & Lengthen, Lennie is the newest addition to Red Aspen’s mascara collection, but she looks (and works) a little differently from Maggie.
We all know - and love - Pump It Up, Maggie, but Lift & Lengthen, Lennie has a different formula that can cater perfectly to different types of lashes.
Lennie is what’s known as a “tubing mascara,” if that term is foreign to you, no worries! Let’s dive into exactly what Lift & Lengthen, Lennie can do.
What is Tubing Mascara, and How Does It Work?
Anyone who has naturally short lashes knows how much of a struggle it can be to make your lashes appear longer with normal mascara. No matter how many coats you apply, your lashes just won’t seem to lengthen.
That’s why Red Aspen created Lift & Lengthen, Lennie! Lennie’s tubing formula won’t just “paint” mascara onto your eyelashes, instead it’ll create tube-like polymers that wrap around each lash hair to create more defined, lifted, and lengthened lashes.
Because of its buildable formula, tubing mascara is less likely to smudge, clump, and flake, and is super easy to remove. Lift & Lengthen, Lennie won’t weigh your lashes down or give you those raccoon eyes we all try so hard to avoid.
How To Use Lift & Lengthen, Lennie
Applying Lift & Lengthen, Lennie is simple, just start by pressing the wand at the base of your upper lashes, and pull out in a zigzag motion. Repeat this motion along your lashes to cover every lash.
Is one coat not enough? No worries! Lift & Lengthen, Lennie has a buildable formula, so you can use multiple layers for more lift and a more dramatic look. It’s important to focus the application at the base of your lashes. This will help define and separate thin, short lashes.
For best results, layer Lennie while your existing mascara coats are still wet.
Lennie’s silicone wand is perfect for helping you accomplish those perfectly defined, long lashes.
How To Remove Lift & Lengthen, Lennie
Did we mention that Lift & Lengthen, Lennie is easy to remove? No need to worry about having to tug all that stubborn mascara off. There are two super easy methods to removing Lennie, you just pick the method you like best.
Option One:
Saturate cotton pad or fingers with warm water. Let warm water sit on lashes for 30 seconds. Slide tubes down and off your lashes. (Tip - warm water is key!)
Option Two:
Use eye makeup remover to gently slide tubes down and off your lashes.
Thanks to Lennie’s unique tubing formula, you can expect the mascara to come off in small tubes, gliding right off!
How Is Lennie Different From Maggie?
Similarities:
Both Pump it up, Maggie and Lift & Lengthen, Lennie will add color to and enhance your lashes, while also adding volume and both mascaras are buildable, so you can use as many coats as you desire.
Differences:
Pump It Up, Maggie’s formula is meant to paint or coat your lashes with mascara, which is great if you have naturally longer eyelashes. Maggie is made with Castor Oil to nourish and condition your eyelashes, which is perfect for volumizing your lashes.
Maggie is available in black, brown, and waterproof - while Lennie is only available in black.
If you have sparse, shorter, and thinner lashes, then Lift & Lengthen, Lennie Tubing Mascara could be just what you’re looking for to achieve that longer, fuller lash effect.
Lift & Lengthen, Lennie black tubing mascara is made with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and nourish lashes to promote fuller, stronger and longer lashes. Shea Butter will help condition your lashes during wear and improve the appearance of your lashes. Panthenol (Vitamin B5) will lock in moisture to help protect lashes from breakage, and will add a natural looking sheen to your lashes. A natural wax blend will help promote volume and help to lengthen and extend your lashes.
Which Mascara Should I Use?
Both Pump It Up, Maggie and Lift & Lengthen, Lennie are great for everyday wear, it just depends on the effect you’re hoping for!
If you have naturally long and full lashes, Pump It Up, Maggie will be perfect to accentuate your already gorgeous lashes.
Lennie’s thinner, shorter bristles on her silicone wand will help you to grab any thin and short lashes at the base of your eyelid. If you experience smudging with typical “painting” mascaras and want the appearance of longer lashes - Lennie’s tubing formula could be perfect for you!
Lift & Lengthen, Lennie’s lengthening formula is so good, people may think you’re wearing lash extensions!
Just like Maggie, Lennie is vegan, cruelty-free, and made with good you ingredients, so you can feel good using either product.
Don't want to choose between Maggie and Lennie?
You don’t have to! If you would like to combine the conditioning and volumizing effects of Maggie, with the lengthening effects of Lennie, you can wear them together. We recommend applying one coat of Maggie first, followed by Lennie on top.
