Deciding what to do now was definitely the only thing I could do.
Without Percy at camp it was impossible to really tell at what point it was in the timeline I mean a girl can only know so much from books. And I mean I am stuck here so I might as well have some fun…
I’m knocked out of my daydream with a knock on the door. Im still being kept on bed rest even though I feel fine (besides the fact I’m from another dimension of course). Taylor left a while ago to let me rest, she said the Apollos kids were wanting to hang out.
“Come in.” I say shuffling in my uncomfortable cot. It has almost plastic sheats and move the annoying curtain so I can see whos entered. “You feeling any better?” A smooth voice rings through the room.
“Yeah Luke, I’m doing okay just umm.. I have some memory loss?” It doesn't seem like the best idea to let your future villain boyfriend know your not the girlfriend he remembers. “Oh. Like what?” He ask coming over and sitting on the bed next to me. I cross my legs to my chest. He looks at me so.. Softly. He takes on of my hands in his. “Im sorry to say it but a lot of..us.” I see him falter at that.
“Oh..”
“I know, I’m really sorry. I don't want to be another person you've lost. Thalia and your mothe-” He cuts me off. “Don’t” He says sternly. He squeezes my hand unconsciously and his posture stiffens. And for a second I see the Luke everyone thinks they know. The one everyone hates. “We will get through this. I love you.” He speaks sternly again when he says it but he sounds more desperate this time. His hand has softened again in mine and I feel him cup my face with his other. “I love you too.” I respond. It comes out too naturally.
He kisses my forehead. “Its probably dinner soon do you want to come eat with the other campers like normal or do you want me to bring some back to you?” He asks standing up. “I’ll come with” I smile. And he smiles back. And for a second everything is perfect.

Dinner was strange.
For one its not usually expected to be hated by one of your favorite characters when you do interdimensional travel. And yet I could tell, Annabeth despises me. The second I walk into the patio where all the campers are sat at their tables I see her roll her eyes. Why? No clue… but its definitely a possibility that its because I’m dating the guy she liked before Percy. And seeing as there is no Percy yet? Maybe she still likes him..
Luke pulls my hand along and snaps me out of my staring. “Where do you want to sit?” He glances back at me. My brow furrows. “Aren't we only supposed to sit with our cabin?” I respond looking over at the Aphrodite table. One of the boys is really trying to flirt with a girl from the Ares cabin but she doesn't seem all that interested shes trying to talk to a girl at the table. The Ares girl looks familiar.. Most of the others are just talking (I assume gossiping) or eating… Chicken cesar salad it looks like?
“You have memory loss. You can sit where you want. Besides if we get in trouble just.. say you forgot. ”He smiles bumping my arm gently with his as we walk with our hands interlinked. “Alright.” I smile back as we walk and sit at the Hermes table. None of the other Hermes kids notice, or maybe they do, but they definitely don't care. Look grabs his goblet as it fills up with what I can only assume is Pepsi.
“So tell me about us.” I smile as I mimic him and grab my cup. It filling up with ice water. He sets his cup down and pretends to think, excited to talk about our relationship.
When we’re interrupted. “Luke can I talk to you?” Annabeth asks. Coming out of no where with her arms folded. “Oh sure. Whats up?” He replies cheerfully. She grits her teeth a little and side eyes me before returning her gaze to him “In private.”
Its weird being glared at by a 12 year old that you know has a crush on your boyfriend. But we’ll probably work past it.. Right? Luke shrugs. “Okay?” He responds as he stands up. “Ill be right back, baby. Try not forget anything more while I’m gone.” He jokes to me quickly, leaning down and kissing my temple. “No promises.” I joke back and he chuckles before walking off a little.
Annabeth lingers, “You’ll never be Thalia so stop trying to make this trio thing happen. Just because Luke likes you doesn't mean I have to.” She whispers bitterly to me before walking off to catch up to Luke. I can't help but gawk. She really hates me that much? And I’m not trying to replace Thalia.
I hear her ask Luke a question as she leaves “How long till Grover gets back with the new kid?” And that causes something to click. Grover? Get back?...
Hes getting Percy.
