DescriptionThe primary purpose of this position is to provide quality service to the Credit Union’s business members. This is accomplished by serving as a liaison between the member and the credit union; providing information to current as well as prospective members on membership eligibility, account types, loan products and any other services the Credit Union offers. Other duties include opening new deposit and loan accounts, resolving problems with business member’s accounts, processing loan requests and responding to members’ requests in a timely, professional manner. This position will also provide administrative support for the Commercial Bankers which may require minimal travel within the Hampton Roads area. In addition, this position will provide support to our branch staff and records management department for Business Services loan and deposit files.
Responsibilities Include

Processes Annual Reviews for business banking credit members by proactively managing all annual reviews and tracking, engaging the member via phone, email and/or letter correspondence with necessary documentation required to process the review
Responsible for uploading documentation and communication with Lucro. Responsible for presenting annual review package to Vice President of Business Banking for final approval.
Responsible for scheduling member appointments, branch visits and any branch training for the Commercial Bankers.
Conducts follow up communication to obtain necessary information for loan renewals and reviews.
Serves as the subject manner expert for Synergy Document Tracking process.
Provides information to current as well as prospective members on membership eligibility, account types, loan products and any other services the Credit Union offers.
Responds to members’ requests, problems and concerns and/or directs them to the appropriate person for assistance.
Opens new accounts and answers any members’ questions regarding existing accounts.
Provides members with all necessary information for membership, informing members’ of various account options and credit union services, assisting members in opening an account(s) to best meet their needs, and answering any inquires regarding existing accounts.
Processes information taken by the commercial loan officer through the approved business underwriting channel. This position to act as a liaison between the commercial loan officer and the underwriting group to facilitate requests for additional information or clarification and to schedule closings for the commercial loan officer and the business member.
Serves as a point of contact for the business member looking for status of loans in process.
